Why Cosmic Horror isn't Scary Cosmic Bliss

This project began with a team discussion on the concept of cosmic bliss vs. cosmic horror, in which I contributed the metaphor of seeing a whale breaching the surface of the ocean. 

After receiving the script, I interpreted the main points of each sequence while prioritizing education, clarity, emotionality, tone, and entertainment, keeping in mind the prior knowledge of our audience. 

After completing the boards and communicating with our producer Benjamin Cook, and our animator/editor Alex Cuenin, I completed all the final inkstamp-style visuals with our Taleoid characters. 

I then directed our animator/editor Alex on what motion to add for the final product.
